About this role

The U.K. KYC Lead at SpaceXAI will design and implement the UK KYC framework, including standards and procedures, while managing a case load of real KYC issues. What you need

  • 5+ years of hands-on KYC / CDD / EDD experience in a regulated UK financial services firm (bank, EMI, PI, payments, or e-money)
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulations including MLR 2017, JMLSG, and FCA financial-crime expectations
  • Experience in designing or materially improving a KYC framework, procedure, or control
  • Ability to write clear procedures and defend risk decisions to product teams
  • Willingness to handle cases and engage directly with KYC files

  • Second-line Compliance or Financial Crime experience
  • Experience with payments, wallets, P2P, or e-money KYC for retail or SME
  • ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent certification
  • Experience building KYC frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience collaborating with product or engineering on onboarding, risk rating, or control design
