About this role
As a Structural Engineer for Launch Infrastructure at SpaceX, you will collaborate with a team to design and manage the construction of infrastructure for the Starship rocket. What you need
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or other engineering discipline
- 1+ years of professional experience as an engineer with a focus in design or build of structural infrastructure
Nice to have
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) steel manual, American Concrete Institute (ACI) code 318, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 7, and International Building Code (IBC)
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
- Experience with SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, RISA-3D, Etabs, or similar analysis software
- Knowledge of processes of governing permitting agencies such as building departments and/or environmental agencies
