What you need
- Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology and 4+ years of experience with automated processes, or a high school diploma and 6+ years of experience in control room operations, plant operations, mechanic/millwright support, or instrumentation/electrical operations.
- Experience with troubleshooting, maintaining, and calibrating process equipment such as compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems.
- Ability to work with engineers and technicians to create operating procedures and coordinate across multiple disciplines.
- Willingness to work outside with hand tools, including climbing ladders and operating man-lifts at heights over 100 feet.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or eligible for required authorizations.
Nice to have
- Class B or higher Water Operator and/or Wastewater Operator license through TCEQ or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of process parameters and engineering units for temperature, pressure, flow, and power.
- Ability to read and understand P&ID and schematic wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems requiring disassembly and repair of machinery components.
- Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures, job hazard analysis, and hot work permitting.
