- BS in construction or engineering or 5+ years of commercial construction field engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience operating earth-moving/heavy equipment

- Experience operating excavators, loaders, motor graders, dozers, and trenchers
- Experience in field layout and staking using tape measures, string lines, transit levels, and laser levels
- Proficiency in reading construction documents
- Proficiency in calculating percent grade, calculating volumes, and establishing and using site benchmarks
- Experience in performing topographic, construction staking, and as-builts using GPS and/or total station equipment
