About this role

As an EDM Machinist at SpaceX, you will support the production of Starlink products by operating and programming sinker and wire EDM machines to create complex molds and parts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include optimizing electrode designs, machining to tight tolerances, performing preventative maintenance, and collaborating with engineers to enhance production efficiency.

  • 1+ year of pulling or designing electrodes
  • Experience with CNC EDM hole drilling/hole popper setup
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and experience with GD&T
