What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of EHS experience, including at least 2 years in a high-hazard industrial manufacturing environment subject to Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analyses, safety audits, hazard assessments, and risk assessments
  • Experience managing chemical inventory systems, SDS administration, hazardous materials, and hazardous waste programs
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards

Nice to have

  • Current HAZWOPER 40-hour certification and DOT hazardous waste training
  • Experience with EHS management platforms such as VelocityEHS, Cority, SAM, or similar systems
  • Experience with hazardous waste profiling, manifest review, and waste management processes
  • Experience supporting Emergency Response Teams (ERT), emergency management programs, or incident command activities
  • Familiarity with OSHA process safety management (29 CFR 1910.119)
