What you need

  • 4+ years in electrical assembly, harness fabrication, or avionics installation
  • Ability to build to IPC/WHMA-A-620, solder to J-STD-001, and inspect to IPC-A-610
  • DC harness wiring with D-Sub, Micro-D, and circular connectors, including crimping with calibrated tooling
  • Reads schematics, wire lists, and interconnect diagrams without close supervision
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and similar test equipment

Nice to have

  • Current CIS or CIT certification in J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, or IPC/WHMA-A-620
  • Class 3 or J-STD-001 Space Addendum work on flight or space hardware
  • Automated harness test systems (Cirris, DIT-MCO, or similar), including test program setup
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and AS9102 first article reporting
