About this role

The ECC Design Engineering Intern will contribute to developing advanced Error Correction Coding (ECC) IPs for semiconductor technology. Daily tasks include running FPGA systems, managing design databases in GIT, coding RTL logic in Verilog, running simulations with Synopsys VCS, and debugging simulation environments. The intern will also collaborate with designers and verification engineers to find solutions.

What you need

Lab skill on windows software and hardware, and FPGA system
BS/MS degree (completed or in progress) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog programming language
Good communication within co-working environments
Good work ethic, i.e. punctual on deadline, trustworthy commitment on assignment
Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Nice to have

Mindset on problem solving
Understanding of ASIC/FPGA workflow from concept to real silicon
Scripting language skills such as Python, Perl, Tcl, etc.
Experience in LDPC or Algebra code (BCH/RS)
