About this role
In this hands-on leadership role, you will supervise and manage a team of up to 20 production technicians in a mechanical production environment. Your responsibilities include ensuring quality standards, overseeing health and safety procedures, delegating tasks, conducting root-cause analysis, and supporting R&D activities. You will also be responsible for reporting on team performance metrics and developing leadership capabilities within your team.

What you need
- High School diploma, NCEA level 2 (at least 60 credits) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
- 3 years of quality assurance inspection in aviation/aerospace manufacturing
- Proven ability to manage resources to meet expected production rate increases
- Demonstrated capability in aligning capacity to production forecasts
- Proven ability to develop leadership skills in direct reports
