What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 6+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or related experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry
- Experience with GTN accruals and reserves, including rebates, chargebacks, discounts, returns, copay, patient assistance, distributor fees, government program items
- Experience supporting monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analyses, reserve rollforwards, audit support, and financial reporting deliverables
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition, U.S. GAAP, and variable consideration concepts
- Experience supporting accounting processes and internal controls in a SOX-compliant environment
Nice to have
- CPA, MBA, or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience supporting a first product launch, commercial launch readiness, or early commercial stage pharmaceutical or biotechnology company
- Experience using AI-enabled tools, automation, dashboards, or advanced analytics to improve close processes, reconciliations, forecasting, reporting, documentation, or controls
