What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing of avionics systems, including PCBA manufacturing; harness fabrication; and electronics box assemblies
- Background in lean manufacturing principles; process optimization; and quality management systems
- Prior experience with scaling low-volume or pilot production lines to high volume
- Strong communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally with design, production, and executive teams
Nice to have
- Understanding of AS9100 processes and quality management systems
- Experience with electronics supply chain management
- Familiarity with quality process controls for PCBAs, wire harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies
- Familiarity with environmental testing of avionics hardware per standards such as SMC-S-016, DO-160, or similar
