About this role
As a Manufacturing Engineer II at Relativity Space, you will own and develop manufacturing and test processes for 3D printed and machined Aeon-R engine components. Your role involves driving continuous improvements in manufacturability and delivery, collaborating with manufacturing partners, and managing external supplier relationships. What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role
- Strong foundational knowledge of propulsion systems, mechanics of materials, and thermal-fluid systems
- Ability to work with and train technicians in a hands-on hardware environment
- Vendor management experience including selection, defect disposition, and quality management
- Proficiency with additive/subtractive manufacturing, precision inspection, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and FEA using Ansys or similar tools

- Experience in propulsion development programs
- Experience transitioning products from development to high-volume production
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, welding, and high-pressure testing
- Experience writing formal process specifications and manufacturing standards
