- 9+ years of professional title search/title examination experience in the United States
- Extensive hands-on experience independently performing and completing title searches
- Experience in any U.S. state; multi-state title search experience is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of chain of title, vesting, property ownership, encumbrances, and title search terminology
- Extensive experience researching and interpreting deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, probate records, easements, rights-of-way, plats, maps, and other recorded documents
- Proven ability to identify clouds or defects in title, and determine whether recorded documents apply to the subject property
