About this role
As a Senior Accountant at NovoEd, you will manage the monthly and quarterly close processes, including payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and cash management. You will also prepare customer invoices, support tax filings, and implement accounting policies and process improvements. What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in general ledger, AP/Accruals, and month-end close responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, including ASC 606
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, and analysis of large data sets
Nice to have
- Experience with payroll processing and payroll-related general ledger reconciliations
- CPA (active or intending to pursue licensure)
- Public accounting experience
- Familiarity with Rillet, Ramp, Box/DropBox, TriNet, and/or QBO
