What you need
- Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License
- Advanced experience maintaining and troubleshooting commercial or institutional electrical distribution systems up to 480V
- Demonstrated experience with switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, automatic transfer switches, motor controls, and fire/life safety systems
- Ability to independently read and interpret one-line diagrams, technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation
- Demonstrated ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex system problems
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe electrical work practices
Nice to have
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys or similar building control systems
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and life safety systems
- Experience supporting electrical shutdowns, generator testing, emergency power systems, or major electrical projects
- Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to other technicians
