About this role
The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff at the Medical Center. Daily tasks include conducting surveillance rounds, monitoring CCTV, responding to emergencies, conducting safety screenings, and preparing reports. The role also involves educating staff on safety topics and participating in crisis intervention as needed.

What you need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must pass a criminal records background check prior to employment
- Must possess and maintain a valid Maryland driver’s license or valid license from the state of residence with no more than two points on the current driving record
- Ability to complete Conflict Management training and demonstrate non-escalation and de-escalation tactics within six months
