About this role
The Security Officer at Luminis Health is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff within the Medical Center. What you need
- High school diploma or equivalent required; or one additional year of verified security experience if no diploma
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must pass a criminal records background check prior to employment
- Ability to complete Conflict Management training within six months
- Must possess and maintain a valid Maryland driver’s license or equivalent with no more than two points on the driving record
Nice to have
- At least one year of Health care Safety and Security experience preferred
- IAHSS Basic Officer Certification preferred, required for any promotion
