What you need
- Bachelor’s degree
- Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program or completion of Acute Nurse Practitioner degree
- Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician’s Assistants or active Maryland license through the Maryland Board of Nursing
- Active Maryland license to practice
- PA-C, NP or CNM certification
- One year of OBGYN, surgical, emergency, or critical care experience
