What you need
- High School Diploma or GED
- Automotive technician degree, certification, or equivalent work experience
- Seven years of automotive diagnostics, repair, quality, testing, or technical investigation experience
- Demonstrated experience leading technical work and mentoring technicians
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems and diagnostic methodologies
- Experience diagnosing complex concerns using diagnostic tools
Nice to have
- ASE certification; ASE Master Technician certification is highly desirable
- EPA Section 609 certification
- Previous OEM Master Technician certification
- Extensive experience with electric vehicle diagnosis and repair
- Working knowledge of CAN bus and vehicle communication protocols
