What you need

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Automotive technician degree, certification, or equivalent work experience
  • Seven years of automotive diagnostics, repair, quality, testing, or technical investigation experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical work and mentoring technicians
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems and diagnostic methodologies
  • Experience diagnosing complex concerns using diagnostic tools

Nice to have

  • ASE certification; ASE Master Technician certification is highly desirable
  • EPA Section 609 certification
  • Previous OEM Master Technician certification
  • Extensive experience with electric vehicle diagnosis and repair
  • Working knowledge of CAN bus and vehicle communication protocols
