What you need
- Minimum of 2-5+ years of experience in industrial construction estimating covering scaffolding, insulation, and/or painting & coatings scopes, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Estimating experience with Accubid, HCSS HeavyBid, and/or similar softwares.
- Ability to read and interpret coating specifications, insulation details, scaffold drawings, and other technical schematics.
- Working knowledge of SSPC/AMPP surface preparation and coating standards, insulation and lagging system types and applications, and OSHA Subpart L scaffold requirements.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related discipline
- Scheduling experience with MS.
- Direct involvement in industrial painting & coatings, insulation & lagging, and scaffold erection on refinery, power generation, or heavy industrial facilities.
- Experience with DesignAssist and DesignBuild delivery methods.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex bids simultaneously.
