What you need

CISSP (active and in good standing)
CMMC ecosystem credentials: CCP (active at time of hire), CCA (within first 12 months)
Minimum eight (8) years of progressive information security experience
At least three (3) years delivering compliance or vCISO engagements in a consulting, MSP, or MSSP environment
Demonstrated ownership of at least two (2) completed CMMC Level 2 readiness engagements
Documented working depth in a minimum of three (3) distinct regulatory frameworks

Nice to have

Additional certifications: CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC, CompTIA Security+, Security X, Microsoft SC-series
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and technologies
Experience with GRC and compliance platforms
Proficiency in generating clear client-facing and executive-level reports
Commitment to staying current on emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity
