What you need
- 7+ years supervising high-voltage substation, switchyard, or transmission construction (69kV-345kV) with a utility contractor, EPC, or utility construction organization
- Hands-on knowledge of substation construction practice: major equipment setting, bus fabrication, grounding grids, control wiring, and commissioning support
- Direct experience coordinating utility outages, switching, clearances, and energization
- Familiarity with relay and protection testing sequences (NETA, end-to-end) and utility acceptance/witness processes
- Uncompromising HV safety leadership: switching and tagging, MAD, grounding and bonding; OSHA 30 preferred
- Experience managing specialty HV subcontractors and NETA testing firms
