About this role

In this role as a Safety Specialist, you will be the primary contact for occupational health and safety issues, assisting management in implementing legal and internal requirements at logistics hubs. What you need

  • Completed training as a Safety Specialist (Sifa) or qualification according to ASiG and DGUV Regulation 2 or willingness to obtain this qualification
  • 3+ years of professional experience in occupational safety/EHS/HSE, preferably in logistics, production, distribution, or similar operational environments
  • Solid knowledge of German occupational safety law and DGUV regulations, especially ArbSchG, BetrSichV, GefStoffV, and ArbStättV
  • Experience in conducting hazard assessments, inspections, accident analyses, and tracking measures
  • Fluent in German and English (at least C1 level) with strong communication and consulting skills
  • Analytical, structured, and problem-solving work style with the ability to translate complex relationships into actionable safety strategies

Nice to have

  • Understanding of traffic safety, fleet management, internal transport, fire protection, and hazardous materials management; ideally also knowledge in environmental law or BImSchG
