What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health Physics, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in an occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or EH&S role, preferably within nuclear, chemical, manufacturing, or R&D-intensive environments
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations and standards, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910, 10 CFR 20, 10 CFR 70, and DOE/NRC EH&S requirements
- Demonstrated ability to identify occupational health and safety risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
- Experience conducting hazard assessments, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills, including procedure development and compliance reporting
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHP, CHMM, or equivalent
- Experience supporting radiological operations, nuclear facilities, or pilot-scale process development
- Experience with hazardous materials management, industrial hygiene monitoring, and emergency preparedness programs
