What you need
- B.S. or B.A. in a science or engineering discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience in environmental protection, waste management, or applied health physics, including 3+ years in a nuclear/radiological setting; OR advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a science or engineering discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a nuclear/radiological setting
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance and access authorization
Nice to have
- Prior experience at an NRC-licensed facility, DOE site, or national laboratory
- Professional certification such as Registered Environmental Manager (REM), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Experience managing radiological and hazardous waste programs
