About this role

The Mission Outcome Lead (MOL) will provide senior technical leadership across a portfolio of mission-aligned enterprise systems, ensuring that government mission objectives are translated into executable engineering activities. The role involves coordinating across multiple products and teams, managing technical risks, and providing guidance to Delivery Technical Leads. The MOL will also maintain a systems-level view of architectures and dependencies, ensuring effective integration and delivery of solutions that support critical business functions.

What you need

Twenty (20) years of progressively responsible experience in systems engineering, software engineering, systems architecture, technical delivery, or related engineering disciplines supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Demonstrated experience working across the full systems and/or software engineering lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through implementation, integration, testing, deployment, operations, sustainment, and modernization.
Demonstrated ability to understand complex system architectures, interfaces, dependencies, data flows, environments, and technical constraints.
Experience leading or coordinating technical execution across multiple engineering disciplines, products, applications, or teams.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical and delivery problems at a systems level.

Nice to have

Experience serving as a Senior Systems Engineer, Systems Architect, Technical Lead, Lead Software Engineer, or similar senior technical role.
Experience supporting a portfolio or system-of-systems environment containing multiple interconnected applications, platforms, interfaces, and engineering teams.
Experience with COTS/GOTS products, custom software, legacy modernization, and hybrid enterprise environments.
Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.
Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure automation, and modern software delivery practices.
