What you need
- Minimum 3 years of experience installing, servicing, or maintaining commercial fire alarm systems
- Working knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70 (NEC), and applicable local fire and building codes
- Experience reading construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
- Ability to troubleshoot fire alarm systems and identify system deficiencies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience programming fire alarm systems such as Notifier, Silent Knight, Gamewell-FCI, Honeywell, Edwards, Siemens, or Fire-Lite
- NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (Level I, II, or higher)
- Experience with low-voltage systems including Access Control, CCTV, Burglar Alarm, or Security Systems
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience working in commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, or multi-site environments
