What you need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, general maintenance, construction, manufacturing support, or a related field
- Basic knowledge and hands-on ability with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform general building maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall/patching, caulking, minor carpentry, fixture installation, and basic repairs
- Ability to safely perform grounds and exterior maintenance, including snow removal, salting, landscaping, trash removal, and general upkeep of sidewalks and parking areas
- Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies, while maintaining accurate documentation of completed work
Nice to have
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, or other regulated facility
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or building utility systems and an interest in developing those skills
- Previous experience using a CMMS, Building Management System (BMS/BAS), electronic work-order system, or other computerized maintenance software
- Experience reading equipment manuals, basic mechanical drawings, P&IDs, or facility documentation
