The Manufacturing Engineer/Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Fairchild Imaging will focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing and test methods for both existing and new products. What you need
- Solid background in quality systems and electronics assembly and test processes
- Proven record of analyzing manufacturing/support processes and driving continuous improvement
- Subject matter expert for manufacturing processes including wafer dicing, die attach, wire bonding, epoxy bonding, and complex camera assembly and test processes
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve performance and lead an organization to achieve results
- Excels at yield analysis and failure analysis leading to root cause and corrective actions
- Proficient in use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and manufacturing support systems
Nice to have
- Experience in electronics/semiconductor environment with hands-on experience in CMOS and CCD imagers and cameras
- Medical, dental, or other X-ray product experience
- Experience in Six Sigma, SPC, Continuous Improvement/Lean Methodologies
- Proficient in use of Minitab or similar
- Experience troubleshooting PC Boards issues to component level and/or selection of assembly epoxies
