About this role
As a Shop Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment. Your day-to-day tasks will include using technology to manage work orders, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and assisting in training lower-level technicians. You'll also maintain documentation of your work and may assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

What you need
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma
Nice to have
- Trade school certificate preferred
- EPA 608 certification is preferred (or ability to obtain within 6-12 months of employment)
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
