About this role
As a Shop Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment. Your daily tasks will include using technology to manage work orders, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and assisting in training lower-level technicians. You'll work both in the shop and at customer locations, ensuring equipment is operational and safe.

What you need
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma
Nice to have
- Trade school certificate
- EPA 608 certification (preferred but can be obtained within 6-12 months of employment)
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements (preferred)
- Experience in equipment service, maintenance and repair (preferred)
