About this role
As a Shop Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment. Your daily tasks will include using technology to manage work orders, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and assisting in training lower-level technicians. You will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure equipment is operational and safe for customer use.

What you need
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma
Nice to have
- EPA 608 certification is preferred. If you do not already have the certification, you should be able to obtain it within 6-12 months of employment
- Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in equipment service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
