What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- At least 10 years of electrical engineering experience in power generation, utility, industrial, or energy infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of DC control systems, station batteries, battery chargers, relay logic, and protection circuits
- Experience with generator controls, synchronization systems, automatic transfer switches, and switchgear
- Working knowledge of SCADA systems, PLCs, HMI platforms, and industrial communication protocols
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor junior engineers
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with temporary power generation or rental power systems
- Experience designing microgrids and hybrid energy systems
- Knowledge of renewable energy integration, including solar PV and hybrid generation systems
- Familiarity with IEC, NERC, and utility interconnection requirements
