About this role
As a Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment. Your day-to-day tasks will include using technology to manage work orders, diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs both in the shop and at customer job sites, and assisting in training lower-level technicians. You will also maintain documentation of your work and may participate in on-call scheduling.

What you need
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Nice to have
- EPA 608 certification is preferred
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
