About this role
As a Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing various Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment both in the shop and at customer job sites. You'll utilize technology to manage work orders, diagnose issues, and ensure safe job practices while also assisting in training lower-level technicians. This role requires a combination of technical skills and customer service, as you will be interacting with clients and ensuring their equipment operates efficiently.

What you need
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma
Nice to have
- Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- EPA 608 certification is preferred, or ability to obtain within 6-12 months of employment
