About this role
As a Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment, both at the shop and on customer job sites. Your daily tasks will include using technology to manage work orders, diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting in training lower-level technicians. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

What you need
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Nice to have
- Trade school certificate
- EPA 608 certification (preferred)
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair (preferred)
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements (preferred)
