About this role
As a District Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment both at the shop and on customer job sites. Your day-to-day tasks will include using technology to manage work orders, diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting in training lower-level technicians. The role involves a rotating schedule with on-call duties and requires travel to customer locations as needed.

What you need
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Ability to travel weekly to support business needs
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
Nice to have
- Trade school certificate preferred
- EPA 608 certification is preferred, or ability to obtain it within 6-12 months of employment
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
