About this role
As a District Field Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment both in the shop and at customer job sites. Your role involves using technology to manage work orders, diagnose equipment issues, and ensure safe job practices. You will also assist in training lower-level technicians and maintain accurate documentation of your work.

What you need
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Ability to travel weekly to support business needs
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
Nice to have
- EPA 608 certification is preferred. If you do not already have the certification, you should be able to obtain it within 6-12 months of employment
- Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred

- Up to $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Per Diem up to $70/day
