What you need
- Proven experience as a Fiber Technician within a data center, telecommunications, enterprise IT, or critical infrastructure environment
- Hands-on experience installing, terminating, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cabling
- Experience working with both single-mode and multi-mode fiber systems
- Strong understanding of structured cabling standards and best practices
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, floor plans, rack layouts, and cabling schematics
- Familiarity with data center operations, change management processes, and critical environment procedures
Nice to have
- BICSI Certification (desirable)
- CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician) or equivalent certification
