About this role

What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in hardware, infrastructure, systems, or platform engineering roles within data centre, cloud, or high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of server hardware, components, and fleet management technologies
- Proficiency in Python or Ansible, with hands-on experience programmatically interacting with server BMCs using Redfish or IPMI (Redfish preferred)
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with hardware vendors and OEMs to evaluate, qualify, and deploy server solutions
- Proven experience supporting production infrastructure, driving incident escalations through to root-cause resolution, and participating in on-call rotations
Nice to have
- Experience bringing up new data centre regions or operating within customer/partner-owned facility infrastructure
- Familiarity with GPU platforms and rack-scale systems (e.g., NVIDIA GB200 / GB300)
- Experience with BMC technologies, firmware lifecycle management, and fleet-scale hardware qualification programmes
- Strong Linux systems administration and debugging skills at fleet scale
- Familiarity with Kubernetes-based services, observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and distributed production environments
