About this role
As a Conference and Events Supervisor at Convene, you will lead the operations team to ensure the success of events, maintaining high-quality service and profitability. What you need
- Minimum 2 years’ of progressive experience in a conference center or a related field
- Strong knowledge of service standards and different service types
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 kg without assistance
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
