What you need
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field
- Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and return to school at the end of the internship
- Experience working in an academic project team or laboratory
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program
- CAD skills (any platform) and ability to create high-quality engineering drawings
- Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills

- Experience through internships, student teams, research, military service, or personal projects involving aerospace, defense, robotics, vehicles, mechanisms, electronics packaging, or ruggedized hardware
- Exposure to structural or thermal analysis using hand calculations or commercial FEA tools
- Experience with machining, additive manufacturing, sheet metal, composites, welding, or other fabrication techniques
- Experience in SolidWorks and 3D computer-aided design (CAD)
- Ability to perform basic static and dynamic calculations, component sizing, and tolerancing
