What you need
- 6+ years of semiconductor equipment experience or equivalent hands-on technical experience
- Experience supporting semiconductor capital equipment in HVM, customer support, process development, applications engineering, or field support environments
- Demonstrated success supporting customer escalations, qualification activities, process transfers, tool matching, scale-up efforts, or continuous improvement projects
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills at the system and process level
- Experience working in customer-facing and cross-functional environments
- Ability to effectively collaborate with Field Service Engineers, customer engineers, account teams, and global technical experts while maintaining ownership and accountability
Nice to have
- Experience with CMP, polishing, or related wafer processing equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong foundation in semiconductor processing, thin films and deposition, vacuum systems, gas, pressure, and flow control, reaction kinetics and surface chemistry, plasma or thermal processes, metrology and data analysis
- Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, CMP processes and applications
- Experienced candidates should demonstrate increasing levels of ownership, technical leadership, customer engagement, mentoring, and the ability to lead complex troubleshooting and qualification activities across cross-functional teams
