What you need
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as an HV engineer working with solar, BESS, or another related industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of engineering and renewable energy systems, including solar PV & BESS systems
- Experience with high-voltage transmission and interconnection facilities (typically 69 kV through 500 kV)
- Working knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards and FERC regulatory requirements
Nice to have
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Electrical Professional Engineering Registration (PE)
- Electrical testing and field commissioning experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD design, ETAP or similar, CYMCAP or similar, WinIGS or similar
- Knowledgeable in civil design methods and their applications for hydrology studies and SWPPP
