What you need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as an HV engineer working with solar, BESS, or another related industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of engineering and renewable energy systems, including solar PV & BESS systems
  • Experience with high-voltage transmission and interconnection facilities (typically 69 kV through 500 kV)
  • Working knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards and FERC regulatory requirements

Nice to have

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Electrical Professional Engineering Registration (PE)
  • Electrical testing and field commissioning experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD design, ETAP or similar, CYMCAP or similar, WinIGS or similar
  • Knowledgeable in civil design methods and their applications for hydrology studies and SWPPP
