About this role
As a Water Resources Engineer at Apex, you will participate in various engineering projects related to water resources, including stormwater management and flood mitigation. Your responsibilities will include leading design efforts, conducting hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, overseeing project implementation, and liaising with clients and regulatory agencies. You will also manage project schedules and financial aspects while supervising CAD designers and permit technicians.

What you need
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in stormwater and/or groundwater
- PE License Desired or close to obtaining
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Experience with stormwater management modeling, including HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS and StormWise/ICPR4
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Nice to have
- Licensed Professional Engineer for State of Florida Desired
- Construction experience preferred
- Experienced with software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD (Civil3D)
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulatory agency rules and regulations
