What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington and Oregon required within six months of employment
- 12+ years of progressive traffic engineering experience, including project management responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience delivering traffic engineering projects for local agencies and/or state DOT clients
- Proven business development experience, including developing client relationships and supporting proposal efforts
- Strong knowledge of WSDOT, ODOT, MUTCD, and local agency design standards
Nice to have
- Experience with WSDOT, ODOT, City of Vancouver, Clark County, or other Pacific Northwest transportation agencies
- Proficiency with Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, or similar traffic engineering software
- Existing relationships with public agency clients in Southwest Washington and the Portland metropolitan area
- Experience leading multidisciplinary transportation projects and mentoring engineering staff
