About this role
As a Staff Manufacturing Engineer for Anduril's Fury team, you will be responsible for architecting factory-scale manufacturing processes for autonomous air vehicles. Your role involves setting design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for excellence (DFX) standards, leading integration efforts, and mentoring the engineering team. What you need
- 12+ years in manufacturing engineering, including rate and scale production, preferably in aerospace or aircraft structures
- Experience architecting a production line or factory, or leading a major systems rollout such as MES
- Deep expertise in DFM, tooling, composites, and structures, with strong influence without authority
- BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in CAD, ERP, and MES
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

- Experience with composites and advanced manufacturing at scale, plus automation and robotics
- Hands-on experience with R/C or autonomous flight systems
- Factory-standup experience
