  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Proven experience in safety-critical hardware design, incorporating multi-fault tolerance, arm/fire inhibits, safe bleed-down circuits, and inadvertent initiation mitigation
  • Experience in high-voltage PCB layout and circuit design for motor initiation, including capacitor charging/discharge circuits, high peak-current switching, and creepage/clearance management
  • Experience with the design, development, and installation of sensors employed to collect data on system performance
  • NI Labview or NI DAQmx experience or familiar with other COTS data acquisition systems
  • Thorough understanding of signal conditioning for data acquisition, i.e. analog circuit design

  • Advanced degree in engineering
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (spice)
  • Experience using EDA tools such as Altium/Or CAD
  • Familiar with real-time computer architectures and their OS’s
