What you need
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical training and hands-on metrology experience
- Working knowledge of dimensional metrology principles, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and inspection methods
- Experience with CMM and metrology software; PolyWorks preferred
- Experience with one or more measurement technologies — CMM, portable CMM, 3D scanning, laser tracker, CT, or optical systems
- Familiarity with FAI and measurement system analysis (MSA / Gage R&R)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Nice to have
- Experience integrating metrology early in product development and supporting design reviews
- Experience with automated inspection (vision/scan), digital-twin, or data-visualization methods
- Experience with large-volume metrology (laser tracker, laser radar, large-format 3D scanning)
- Experience designing and building holding fixtures for CMMs
- Experience with PolyWorks|DataLoop or similar metrology data management platforms
