What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant inventory and cost accounting experience in manufacturing, biotech, pharmaceutical or life sciences
- Demonstrated experience building, implementing, or improving inventory and cost accounting processes in a commercial public company environment
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP related to inventory and cost of sales
- Strong ERP including inventory costing methodologies, inventory transactions, manufacturing accounting workflows, system implementations, and process optimization initiatives
- Experience with inventory and cost of sales close activities, audit support, external reporting, and SOX-compliant controls in a public company environment
Nice to have
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Prior biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences commercialization experience, including support for commercial product launches, inventory build activities, and outsourced manufacturing operations
- Experience with NetSuite ERP and managing global inventory flows and complex third-party manufacturing networks
